About Fax

Fax app enables you to send faxes without having a proper fax machine. You can create documents by using the integrated scanner, or by importing pictures from Photos or documents from your favorite cloud services. Each page of the document you want to fax costs a number of credits - a currency utilized by the app.

Note: the exact page cost depends on the recipient's country. You can only send faxes to countries which appear on the list of available countries.

How to create a document?

1. Tap Add Document.
2. Select how to create a document: using Camera or by importing a picture or a document from Photos, Clouds or Documents within the Fax app.
3. Take a picture of the document/select a photo from Photos or add an existing document from Clouds or Documents.
4. Select the borders of the page or change the size of the document by tapping the Crop button in the bottom left corner.
5. If necessary, add your signature to your document.
6. Tap Done to save the document as a draft.

If you need to add more pages to the document, tap Add Pages.

Camera features

You can improve your scans using different camera features:

• Flashlight will be helpful if the lighting is poor.
• Automatic border detection
• If this option is enabled, the app will automatically detect the borders of the document. Also, you can adjust the borders later on the Page Setup screen.
• Automatic border detection fits best if you put the document against a contrasting background.
• Grid will help you to properly align the document you are scanning.
